Non-Chinese nationals; 2. Friendly to China, without any illegal or criminal records, and complying with the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the university; 3. Physically and mentally healthy, with good character and academic performance; 4. Age requirements: in principle, applicants for undergraduate scholarships should not be more than 30 years old, applicants for master's degree scholarships should not be more than 35 years old, and applicants for doctoral degree scholarships should not be more than 40 years old (based on the date of September 1, 2025). Categories and Scholarship Contents Foreign students applying for undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs of the University can apply for this scholarship. This scholarship only covers the tuition fee of the first year, but all other expenses are to be paid by the students themselves. Application Procedure 1. Download and fill in the "Application Form for Beijing Scholarship for Foreign Students (for New Students)" from the website of Study Abroad in Beijing Language and Culture University (https://apply.blcu.edu.cn). 2. Log on to the "Application System for International Students of Beijing Language and Culture University" (https://apply.blcu.edu.cn), fill in the online application information, and upload the corresponding documents and documents of the course you are applying for. Upload the corresponding documents of the course you are applying for and the scholarship application form; or send the scholarship application form to the university email address: undergraduate@blcu.edu.cn for undergraduate program applicants and graduate@blcu.edu.cn for master's and doctoral program applicants. 3. Applicants will be awarded the scholarship and issued the "Notice of Beijing Scholarship for Foreign Students" after the evaluation by the Evaluation Committee of Scholarships for Foreign Students; those who are not awarded the scholarship will be required to pay for their own study. 4 . If the applicant gives up his/her study in our university, the materials and application fee will not be refunded.
