In order to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese people and the people of other countries, and to develop exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries in various fields, the Chinese government establishes scholarships for outstanding students and scholars from other countries in the world to study or carry out researches in Chinese institutions. I. Qualifications (1) Non-Chinese citizens, physically and mentally healthy; (2) Educational qualifications and age requirements (1) Applicants for Bachelor's Degree should have the same academic ability as high school graduation, with excellent academic performance, and generally not older than 25 years old; (2) Applicants for Master's Degree should have a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent, with excellent academic performance, and generally not older than 35 years old; (3) Applicants for Doctor's Degree should have a Master's Degree or the equivalent. (3) Applicants for doctoral degree should have a master's degree or equivalent, have excellent academic performance, and are generally not older than 40 years old; (4) Ordinary advanced students should have graduated from senior high school or above, and are generally not older than 45 years old; (5) Advanced advanced students should have a master's degree or above, or the title of associate professor or above, and are generally not older than 50 years old. (III) Language Requirements 1. Applicants for bachelor's degree are required to take the "Test of Academic Standard for Undergraduate Admission for International Students (CSCA)" (official webpage: www.csca.cn). 2. For applicants of disciplines and majors with Chinese as the language of instruction, applicants of general advanced students (except for majors in Chinese language) and advanced advanced students should, in principle, reach at least the level of Chinese language proficiency. (3) Applicants for master's degree, doctoral degree, general advanced study and advanced advanced study in foreign languages shall meet the admission requirements of BLCU in terms of foreign language proficiency. (d) Applicants shall also meet the admission requirements of BLCU in terms of academic ability and other related aspects. (e) Applicants are not awarded other kinds of Chinese government scholarships at the same time. (a) Funding categories include undergraduates, master's degree students, doctoral degree students, general students and advanced students. (b) The period of financial support includes Chinese language tuition (preparatory course) and professional study. The duration of the subsidy for Chinese remedial study (preparatory course) is generally one year, and the duration of the subsidy for professional study is in principle the same as the basic years of study. Scholarship content and standard (1) The content of the scholarship includes tuition fees, accommodation fees, living expenses and comprehensive medical insurance. (ii) Financial support standard 1. tuition fee exemption; 2. free dormitory or accommodation subsidy; 3. living cost: Undergraduates: RMB 2,500/month Master's degree students and general advanced students: RMB 3,000/month Doctoral degree students and advanced students: RMB 3,500/month 4. comprehensive medical insurance: RMB 800/person/year RMB 400/person/year (the duration of study is less than 6 months). Confirm the category and major of the program you are applying for; (For the catalog of academic programs, please refer to Annex 1. CGS Catalog and CSCA Exam Subjects) 2. Send the application materials to scholarship @blcu.edu.cn and get the pre-admission notice issued by the university. * Note: (1) Applicants with pre-admission letter are not required to pay the application fee. (2) Send " V. Application Materials" to scholarship @blcu.edu.cn to apply for a pre-admission letter. (3) The pre-admission notice will be issued by email. If you do not receive a reply within 3-5 working days after application, please contact scholarship@blcu.edu.cn or call 82303706. Contact the relevant application accepting organization (usually the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in the applicant's home country) to be informed of the deadline for application and to obtain the recommended qualification. Log in the "Management Information System for Chinese Government Scholarships for Studying in China" (http://www.campuschina.org), fill in the "Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarships" online and submit the required application materials. 5. 5. The application accepting organization submits the list of recommended candidates and application materials to the China Scholarship Council; 6. 6. The Scholarship Council informs BLCU to conduct qualification and academic examination of the recommended candidates and determine the candidates to be admitted; 7. The China Scholarship Council informs the accepting organization of the admission result, and the accepting organization informs the applicant. V. Application Materials 1 . APPLICATION FORM for International Students of BLCU (see Annex 5); 2. Passport front page. Applicants should submit a clear scanned copy of the first page of their passports. If the validity period of the current passport is less than 12 months (counting from the expected date of commencement of study), applicants should apply for a new passport in time and use the new passport to complete the application for the scholarship. For applicants who are unable to apply for a passport before submitting the application due to objective reasons, they may submit valid documents or certificates containing information such as their English name, gender, nationality and date of birth with the permission of the accepting organization. 3. Notarized proof of the applicant's highest academic qualification. If the applicant is a student, he/she must submit the certificate of expected graduation or certificate of enrollment issued by the school he/she is attending, and submit the official certificate of graduation when he/she enrolls in the school. 4. Academic transcripts. 5. Proof of language ability. Transcripts of CSCA for undergraduates studying in China. Applicants for bachelor's degree must register for CSCA and obtain the valid transcripts before the deadline. Please refer to Appendix 1 for the list of CGS majors and CSCA subjects. 7. Admission Materials. Applicants for master's degree or doctoral degree and applicants for studying in China as general or advanced students should provide the pre-admission letter issued by the institution (the pre-admission letter will be one of the preferred documents for the Chinese Government Scholarships). 8. Program of study or research in China. (not less than 200 words for undergraduates, 500 words for advanced students, and 1000 words for postgraduates), written in Chinese or English; and 9. Letter of recommendation. For undergraduate degree applicants, one letter of recommendation from a teacher; for master's degree and doctoral degree applicants and those applying to study in China as advanced trainees, two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors; written in Chinese or English. 10. Doctoral degree applicants are required to submit a letter of pre-acceptance from their supervisors (refer to Attachment 3.). Ph.D. applicants are required to submit a letter of pre-acceptance from the supervisor (refer to Appendix 3.) 11. Applicants under the age of 18 must submit relevant legal documents from their legal guardians in China; (Refer to Annex 4.) 1 2 . (Refer to Annex 4. Guardianship of Minors) 12. Applicants who come to China to study for more than 6 months shall submit a copy of the Foreigner's Physical Examination Form (keep the original, which is uniformly printed by the Chinese health quarantine department and must be filled out in English). The applicant shall strictly follow the items required in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The Foreigner's Physical Examination Form is invalid if there are missing items, no photo of the applicant or no stamp on the photo, and no signature and stamp of the physician and the hospital. The results of the examination are valid for 6 months (see Appendix 2.). Template of Foreigner's Physical Examination Form); 13. Certificate of no criminal record. The applicant must submit a certificate of no criminal record issued by the public security authorities in the place of residence within the validity period, usually within 6 months prior to the date of submitting the application. * Note: A notarized translation into Chinese or English must be attached to both languages. Chinese language proficiency If the Chinese language proficiency does not meet the admission requirements: for undergraduate degree applicants, one additional year of preparatory course can be added; for master's degree applicants, at least HSK level 4 is required in principle, and one additional year of Chinese language tuition can be added. Scholarship recipients shall report and register according to the time set by the university. Those who fail to report to the school after the specified time will not be retained and will be disqualified from enrolling in the school. 2. Current students must submit the original pre-graduation certificate issued by the school they are attending. If admitted, they must submit the proof of graduation and degree certificate before enrollment. If they cannot provide them, they will be disqualified from enrollment. 3. The university will review all the application materials of the Chinese government scholarship students when the students report to the university for registration, please make sure to bring the original graduation certificate and other important materials with you. If there is any violation of rules and discipline such as falsification of materials, the enrollment will be canceled, and the situation will be reported to the China Scholarship Council for further processing. 4. You must participate in the annual evaluation of the scholarship according to the regulations. Those who fail to pass the evaluation will be suspended or disqualified from the scholarship; 5. Scholarship recipients are not allowed to change the admission institution after coming to China; in principle, they are not allowed to change the study majors and the duration of the study period.
