为吸引优秀外国留学生来渝学习，扩大重庆高校的国际影响，重庆市人民政府特设立“重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金”。
申请对象
1. 拟来重庆师范大学攻读硕士和学士学位非中国籍公民。
2. 已在重庆师范大学学习一学期及以上，并将继续学习一年及以上的非中国籍优秀学历生（包括硕士研究生和本科生）。
申请条件
1．非中国公民，身体健康。
2. 攻读硕士学位的申请者应具有学士学位，学习成绩优秀，年龄在35周岁以下。
3. 攻读学士学位的申请者应具有相当于中国高中毕业的学历，年龄在25周岁以下。
4. 已获得中国政府各类奖学金的人员不能再申请市长奖学金。
奖学金标准
1.硕士生每生每年人民币3万元；
2.本科生每生每年人民币2.5万元；
市长奖学金的资助年限不能超过所攻读相应学位的正常学制年限。
申请材料
申请人必须如实填写和提交以下申请材料（均为一式两份）
1、《重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金申请表》（附件1）。
2、经过公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为重庆师范大学在校学生，需另外提交本人就读学校出具的在学证明和成绩单。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译文。
3、经过公证的最高学历成绩单。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译文。
4、来华学习和研究计划，用中文或英文书写。
5、两封推荐信。攻读硕士学位的申请人需提供所在国两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写。重庆师范大学在校留学生需提供留学生管理部门或任课教师的推荐信。
6、申请学习音乐专业的学生须提交本人作品的光盘；申请学习美术专业的学生，须提供本人作品光盘（2张素描画，2张色彩画，2张其它作品）；
7、《外国人体格检查记录》复印件（重庆师范大学在校留学生不需提供)（附件2）
8、护照复印件。
9、无犯罪记录证明。
10、银行存款证明（金额不少于25000元人民币的当地货币存款证明）

申请办法
申请人将申请材料在截止日期前通过邮寄(一式两份)或电子邮件递交至重庆师范大学国际合作与交流处。
