一、资助类别
长期语言进修生、本科生、硕士研究生、博士研究生
二、申请资格
1.申请人须为非中国籍公民，身体健康。
2.学历和年龄要求：
（1）申请长期语言生和攻读学士学位的，须具有高中毕业及以上学历，年龄原则上不超过35周岁。
（2）攻读硕士学位的，须具有大学本科毕业及以上学历，年龄原则上不超过40周岁。
（3）攻读博士学位的，须具有硕士研究生毕业及以上学历，年龄原则上不超过45岁。
注：所有申请者需年满18周岁。
3. 语言水平及专业成绩要求：
（1）申请攻读中文授课本科项目，汉语水平须达到新版HSK四级180分以上；申请攻读中文授课硕士和博士项目，汉语水平须达到新版HSK五级180分以上，且本科阶段专业成绩良好。
（2）申请攻读英文授课本科专业，除英语为母语的申请人外，其余申请人英语水平须达到托福50分或雅思5分以上。
（3）申请攻读英文授课博士项目，除英语为母语的申请人外，其余申请人英语水平须达到托福60分或雅思5.5分以上，且硕士阶段专业成绩良好。
4.获得中国政府或其他奖学金资助的申请人，不再享受西北大学外国留学生奖学金。
三、奖学金内容和标准
1.奖学金分三个等级:
一等奖学金:免除全额学费及住宿费；
二等奖学金:免除全额学费；
三等奖学金:免除全额学费的一半。

六、申请材料
1.《西北大学外国留学生入学申请表》（需申请者本人签名）;
2.有效普通护照复印件；
3.最高学历毕业证书复印件，如申请人为在校学生，须另外提交本人就读学校出具的在学证明；
4.最高学历阶段成绩单复印件；
5.部分国家需提供无犯罪证明（详情咨询tonwu@nwu.edu.cn ）;
6.《外国人体格检查表》复印件（英文，检查结果有效期为6个月）；
7.有效汉语水平考试（HSK）成绩单复印件或英语水平考试（TOEFL或ILETS）成绩单复印件；
8.来华学习和研究计划（不少于800字，中文或英文）
9.硕士和博士申请人需提供两封教授或副教授（或相当职称人员）推荐信（中文或英文）；
10.硕士和博士申请人需联系导师，优先考虑持有导师接收函申请人（中文或英文）
11.相关发明专利或学术论文

注： 中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的翻译件（获得中国高校学历者除外）。所有材料均为一式两份。无论录取与否，申请材料均不予返还。
七、申请流程
1. 完成西北大学国际学生网上报名注册（http://nwu.17gz.org）, 打印《西北大学外国留学生入学申请表》并签名；
2. 将所有申请材料清晰电子版发至tonwu@nwu.edu.cn ;
3. 审核通过后，请将所有纸质材料发至西北大学国际文化交流学院。
八、录取、入学和受理部门

2.录取和入学
根据申请材料择优录取。西北大学国际文化交流学院留学生招生办公室将录取通知书、签证表（JW202表）、体检表等相关文件邮寄本人。每年9月初开学（具体时间以《入学通知书》为准）。被录取的学生须严格按照入学通知书规定的时间到西北大学国际文化交流学院办理报到手续。超过规定入学时间三周内未办理入学报到手续者，将取消其入学资格。
