1.Program Description Peking University is one of the partner universities of the Asia Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP). Managed by the BXAI Institute, the AFLSP provides scholarships for highly qualified students to study in Asia, as well as a platform for students and educational institutions to build cultural bridges by fostering lasting relationships based on mutual trust and understanding. In 2015, AFLSP established a scholarship program at Peking University to award up to 5 Asian students from Peking University's Yanjing Academy and 8 Japanese students from other faculties at Peking University each year, with a maximum of 10 scholarships allocated to Peking University each year. 2.Qualifications Asian students at Yanjing Academy of Peking University and Japanese students at other Peking University faculties Proficient in English Integrity and honesty, interest in understanding international and cross-cultural issues, passion for volunteering, and identification with the mission and vision of Peking University Scholarships will be awarded to full-time Peking University students who are continuously enrolled in Peking University. Participate in the summer optimization program organized by Baixian Participate in the optimization activities arranged and required by Peking University and other activities arranged and required by Baixian during the academic year Scholarship recipients are responsible for informing Baixian of any other scholarships, tuition fee waivers and/or financial assistance provided by third parties. Scholarship recipients are permitted to receive other forms of financial assistance in conjunction with the scholarship, but Baekhyun reserves the right to review the terms of the scholarship on a case-by-case basis in such circumstances. Application Process and Timing 4.1 The application of students of Yanjing Academy will be unified into an admission application and selection process.
