The Undergraduate Through Train Program is designed for international students applying for undergraduate programs in China, from matriculation application, matriculation training, to undergraduate examinations and undergraduate applications. The program combines the entry requirements of top disciplines and majors of many elite universities in China, including Peking University, Fudan University and Sun Yat-sen University, and creates a through-train preparatory training system for international students to cultivate high-quality internationalized talents under the Belt and Road Initiative in the new era. Curriculum Design: According to the needs of international students for undergraduate education, this program is divided into two categories: Arts and Science, and the program is divided into two semesters, each semester has 28 credits, with a total of 56 credits. The goal of the undergraduate program is to help students successfully pass the undergraduate examination. Highlights 1. The curriculum is rich and diversified: Arts covers the direction of literature, history, philosophy, arts, economics, management, law and education; Science covers the direction of science, technology, agriculture and medicine, etc. The special high-intensity language enhancement courses help students achieve the Chinese language proficiency required by different majors in a short period of time. According to the needs of the entrance level examination, we provide physics and math courses to ensure that students can successfully pass the entrance level examination. 2. Provide customized services: according to the actual situation and needs of students, personalized matching of China's top colleges and universities, to create an exclusive education path for each student, to help students achieve their goals of higher education. 3. (1) Discipline Selection: Arts and Science streams ① Arts stream: including language arts, social sciences and humanities. It is suitable for students who plan to major in humanities and social sciences such as law, sociology and literature. ② Pre-Science: including Mathematics, Natural Sciences (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology), etc. Suitable for students who wish to enter the fields of engineering, medicine, natural science, etc. in the future. (2) Major Selection and Orientation The major orientation is based on students' interests and future career goals. Students can receive professional counseling before enrolling in the through-train program to determine the most appropriate academic path and career plan for themselves. (3) Curriculum (see below for details) ① Core Courses: Contain core subjects such as improving language skills (e.g. English or other major languages), and basic mathematics, which are essential for entering university. ② Professional Foundation Courses: Provide introductory courses in related disciplines according to the student's major direction, e.g., pre-business courses may include accounting, economics, etc. (iii) Academic Skills Courses: Teach skills such as academic writing, research methods, and speech and presentation to fully prepare students for university study. (4) Practical and Applied Contains project work, group discussions and field trips, etc., which are used to enhance students' practical application and teamwork skills. Some of the courses include cooperative projects with local enterprises or industries to provide students with internship opportunities and enhance their practical work experience. (5) Assessment and Progress Assessment is made through regular examinations, coursework and project reports. Students who have successfully completed the through-train program will be awarded a qualification recognized by the Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). (6) Guidance and Support Specialized academic advisors and counselors are available to provide students with academic and life guidance, including individual counseling, study skills workshops, and mental health support to help students adapt to the academic and cultural environment. Undergraduate Entrance Examination (1) National Entrance Level Examination: Pass the nationally administered undergraduate entrance level examination. (2) University Entrance Test: After counseling, students will meet the requirements for admission to undergraduate programs and pass the test.
