The Chinese Government Scholarship Program for Highly Qualified Postgraduates is based on the principle of "individual application, recommendation by institutions, evaluation by experts and selection by merit", under which international students with excellent academic backgrounds, outstanding professional abilities and potential for future development are selected by universities and recommended to the China Scholarship Council (CSC) for receiving Chinese Government Scholarships. Scholarships Scholarship content Full/partial tuition waiver; living expenses; accommodation; medical insurance. Scholarship Period Master's students: 2-3 years Doctoral students: 4-5 years Eligibility 1. Meet the relevant application requirements of Peking University for enrolling foreign students; 2 . Have successfully submitted an application for admission to Peking University's full-time self-financed program for international graduate students (master's and doctoral); 3 . Have not received any other scholarships (excluding all kinds of one-time awards) established by the Chinese government at all levels and the admitting institutions; 4 . Except for joint cultivation programs. The application period is generally from March to April each year. Application Procedures 1.
