Program Description: In order to meet the growing demand for Chinese language educators in the international community, to promote the development of Chinese language education in countries around the world, and to facilitate the growth of international Chinese language educators, the Center for Sino-Foreign Language Exchanges and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of China (hereinafter referred to as the Center) has established the International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarships (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarships), which is focused on the cultivation of qualified Chinese language teachers from overseas. Designated recommending organizations can recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese teachers to study at Peking University for a master's degree in International Chinese Language Education. Qualifications: 1. non-Chinese nationals; 2. physically and mentally healthy, with good character and academic performance; 3. interested in Chinese language education, teaching and related work; 4. in principle, between the ages of 18 and 35; 5. with a bachelor's degree; 6. HSK score of not less than 210 points in Level 6, with no less than 65 points in writing (composition); 7. HSKK score of not less than 60 points in Intermediate; 8. provide a job agreement or proof of relevant work in the organization where the teacher intends to work after graduation; and 9. provide a certificate of employment or a certificate of employment in an organization where the teacher intends to work after graduation. Preference will be given to those who can provide a working agreement or relevant proof from the organization where they are going to teach after graduation. Financial support: 1. tuition fee waiver; 2. double room accommodation in the international student dormitory of Peking University Zhongguancunxinyuan; 3. living expenses; 4. comprehensive medical insurance for international students coming to China. Step 1: Online Application 1. Log in the online application system for international students of Peking University (http://www.studyatpku.com), register your personal account, fill in the application information and confirm the submission and printing of Application Form for Admission of International Students (Master's Degree). The path of application is: Application - Degree Students - Master's Degree (M) - International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship for Master's Degree Program in Chinese International Education or search with the enrollment code: ICLTS-MTCSOL. 2. Log in to the International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship application website (cis.chinese.cn) to register for a personal account, fill in the application information and confirm submission and printing of "Application Form for International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship". Scholarship Application Form". Step 2. Submit the application materials by post through China Post (EMS) 1. Application Form for Foreign Students (Master's Degree), please print the application form after successful online application, affix a photo and signature; 2. Application Form for International Chinese Language Teachers' Scholarship, please print the application form after successful online application; 3. Annual Review: M.A.C.E. students are required to participate in an annual review (usually in the spring semester of their first year of study), and those who qualify will continue to be eligible for the scholarship for the following year.
