Announcement Hainan International College About Campus Facilities Programs Accommodation Application Portal Contact Us Notice of Application for the 2025 BLCU Short-term Research Exchange (China Link) Program on Chinese Government Scholarships Posted by: Internship Tests Date: 2024-05-06 Views: 905 2025 BLCU Short-term Research Exchange (China Link) Program on Chinese Government Scholarships Posted by: Internship Tests Time: 2024-05-06 Views: 905 2025 BLCU Short-term Research Exchange (China Link) Program on Chinese Government Scholarships In order to deepen the academic friendship and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign young people, and to build a platform for the exchange of young scientific research talents in the world, the China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as the China Scholarship Council) has set up and implemented the China Link Program, which aims to provide financial support for outstanding students and scholars from various countries to conduct short-term research in China. Funding categories: General students: for undergraduates and master's degree students Advanced students: for doctoral degree students and faculty members The duration of the program: 1-12 months, with the starting date of coming to China no later than August 31, 2006 The language of instruction: Chinese The field of funding: Chinese language and literature, Chinese international education, international economics and trade, etc. The list of majors is attached as Annex 2. Please refer to Annex 2 for the list of specialties. 3. Contents of the financial support During the period of study in China, the students will enjoy full scholarships, including exemption of tuition fee, on-campus accommodation fee, and comprehensive medical insurance fee; and the living expenses will be provided in accordance with the standards of the Chinese Government Scholarships, of which RMB 3,000 yuan/month is provided for the general advanced students, and RMB 3,500 yuan/month is provided for the senior advanced students. Applicants must be non-PRC nationals, with good academic performance and physical and mental health; 2. Applicants for general advanced study should be no older than 45 years old; applicants for advanced study should be no older than 50 years old; 3. Applicants must be full-time students or faculty members of the foreign partner institutions of the China Scholarship Council (SFC) during the period of their application and participation in the program, please refer to Appendix 1 for the list of the foreign partner institutions; 4. Applicants who have received a pre-admission notification from Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) are eligible to apply for the program. (4) Receive a pre-admission notice from Beijing Language and Culture University. V. Application Procedure 1. Applicants should send an email (admissions1@blcu.edu.cn) to BLCU to submit application materials and obtain the pre-admission notice. 2. Applicants should log in the Management Information System for Chinese Government Scholarships for Studying in China (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) to complete the online application and upload relevant materials and documents. 2. Deadline of application (based on Beijing time) July 5, 2025 (for enrollment in September 2025) October 5, 2025 (for enrollment in first batch of enrollment in March 2026) February 5, 2026 (for enrollment in second batch of enrollment in March 2026). 4. Notification of the result (based on Beijing time) Mid-August 2025 (for September 2025 admission) Mid-November 2025 (for the first batch of March 2026 admission) Mid-February 2026 (for the second batch of March 2026 admission) 5. The applicant will be notified by BLCU of the result of the scholarship application. Online submission of application materials 1. BLCU China Link Scholarship Program application form (Annex 4); 2. Applicant's passport front page. Passport validity: at least 6 months from the start of the program. If the validity of the current passport does not meet the requirements, please issue a new passport in time. 3. Proof of enrollment or proof of employment; 4. academic transcripts (not required for teaching staff); 5. proof of language proficiency (HSK score report, IELTS, TOEFL, etc., if available; it is recommended that the applicant has a certain level of Chinese language proficiency, otherwise it may affect the effectiveness of the lessons, the Chinese language proficiency of the majors please refer to the list of the majors in Attachment 2); 6. plan for studying or researching in China (no less than 500 words). 6. Study or research plan in China (not less than 500 words). 7. Applicants who come to China to study for more than 6 months shall submit a copy of the Foreigner's Physical Examination Form (keep the original, which is uniformly printed by the Chinese health quarantine department and must be filled out in English). The applicant shall strictly follow the items required in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The Foreigner's Physical Examination Form is invalid if there are missing items, the applicant's photo is not affixed or the photo is not stamped with a seal, or there is no signature and seal of the physician and hospital. The examination result is valid for 6 months (refer to Annex 5. Template of Foreigner's Physical Examination Form); 8. Certificate of no criminal record. The applicant must submit a certificate of no criminal record issued by the local public security authority within the validity period, usually within 6 months prior to the date of submitting the application. * Note: 1. A notarized translation into Chinese or English must be attached to both Chinese and English texts; 2. Please send the above documents to admissions1@blcu.edu.cn to obtain a pre-admission letter. Applicants of the program are not required to pay the application fee; 2. Scholarship recipients must report and register according to the time stipulated by the university. If the applicant fails to report to the school without any reason, the scholarship status will not be retained and the applicant's enrollment will be canceled. 3 . Scholarship recipients are not allowed to change the institution of admission after coming to China; in principle, they are not allowed to change their majors and the duration of study.
