2025 Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Regular Batch) Undergraduate Admissions for International Students Introduction Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher education in China, and is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and co-built with the Shanghai Municipality. After more than 120 years of unremitting efforts, SJTU has become a "comprehensive, innovative and international" first-class domestic and internationally renowned university. SJTU has campuses in Xuhui, Minhang, Huangpu, Changning, Pudong and Chongming, covering a total area of more than 3 million square meters. The university has 18 disciplines selected as national "double first-class" construction disciplines, and 12 disciplines selected as Shanghai peak disciplines. There are 51 first-level doctoral degree authorization points, covering 10 disciplines, including economics, law, literature, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, art, education, etc.; 56 first-level master's degree authorization points, covering 12 disciplines; 10 doctoral degree authorization points; and 34 master's degree authorization points. The university is ranked 45th in the QS World University Rankings 2025. Eligibility 1. Graduation from high school or with equivalent qualifications. 2. Non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and in compliance with the Ministry of Education's Circular on Regulating the Work Related to the Acceptance of International Students in Our Higher Education Institutions and other relevant regulations. Application Period February 15, 2025 to March 1, 2025 (Beijing time). Language level Chinese language: At least one of the following must be provided: (a) HSK score (HSK level 5 ≥200, including writing ≥60; or HSK level 6 ≥180, including writing ≥60); (b) a statement that Chinese is the mother tongue; English language: At least one of the following must be provided: (a) TOEFL score (code: D070); (b) IELTS score; (c) others, such as the following: (a) IELTS score; (d) IELTS score; (e) IELTS score; (f) IELTS score; (g) IELTS score; (h) IELTS score. Applicants are required to pay the tuition fee in advance and confirm their enrollment within 2 weeks after the announcement of the admission result. 3. The Letter of Acceptance will be issued from July 2025 onwards.
