Fujian Medical University Scholarship for Outstanding Internship for International Students in China

1.Scholarship content and criteria

In order to cultivate the spirit of "knowing China, abiding by law and discipline, studying hard and making progress" among international students, and to encourage self-funded undergraduates to study hard, take clinical internship seriously, make continuous progress in their study, and achieve excellent results, a scholarship for outstanding international students is hereby established for international students of Fujian Medical University. The number of students selected for each scholarship is 10% of the number of clinical interns in each hospital.

2.Open Specialties

Full-time undergraduate self-funded international students who have obtained academic registration in our university.

3.Applicant Qualifications

(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the rules and regulations of Fujian Medical University and College of Overseas Education.

(2) Have not received a warning or above during the award period for violating the rules and regulations of the university.

(3) No default in payment of tuition fees, accommodation fees, insurance premiums and other fees during the award period.

(4) The selection is based on the results of the examination of the students, and the results are ranked in descending order, with the higher ranked students being given priority in the evaluation of the awards.

(5) The students must pass all the examinations, and there is no missing or make-up examination.

(6) Seriously complete the internship content stipulated in the internship syllabus, abide by the rules and regulations of the internship hospital, obey the teaching arrangements of the internship hospital and the instructor, and have no unexcused absences or medical accidents.

4.Application Date

Selected once at the end of each round of discharge examination and three times during the clinical internship.

The total number of times during the clinical internship is three.

5.Application process/route

(1) Counselors and teaching staff of the School of Overseas Education, in cooperation with the Teaching Office of the School of Clinical Medicine, organize and recommend the preliminary list of candidates.

(2) The leading group of the College's student award evaluation work will conduct the preliminary evaluation, and the preliminary list will be publicized in the College for 3 working days.

(3) The uncontested preliminary evaluation list will be submitted to the Leading Group for Assessment of Awards for International Students of the university for approval, and the approval list will be publicized in the university for 3 working days, and then the results of the scholarship selection will be announced.
