三、申请人资格
1. 身体健康，持有效外国护照，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。
2. 申请攻读博士学位研究生须具有硕士学位，年龄一般在45周岁以下。申请攻读硕士学位研究生须具有学士学位，年龄一般在35周岁以下。
3. 申请人的学业成绩、学术水平以及语言能力等条件须达到所申请专业的入学要求。
4. 申请人品德良好，在本国和中国均无违法犯罪行为或不良信用记录，有可靠的经济保证和在华事务担保人。
四、申请日期
每年申请截止日期为6月15日。
五、申请材料
1. 北京工商大学外国留学生入学申请表》（直接从“北京工商大学外国留学生在线报名系统http://admission.btbu.edu.cn”打印，请务必上传照片）；
2. 个人简历；
3. 经认证的最高学历证明和学习成绩单；博士研究生申请者需提供硕士及本科成绩单；
4. 普通护照（有效期内）首页复印件；
5. 外国人体格检查记录》鉴于检查结果有效期为6个月，申请人据此确定本人进行体检的时间；（可从BTBU在线申请系统下载）；
6. 申请采用汉语授课的学科门类的学历生，需提交汉语考试（HSK5级或新HSK4级210分以上）原件或复印件； （如有其它特殊免除提交材料要求的,根据实际情况执行。）
7. 申请完全采用英语授课的学科专业，申请人母语为非英语者，需提交TOEFL网考70分以上或雅思5.5以上的成绩单、成绩证明或其它能体现自身英语水平的证明；
8. 两封推荐信；
9. 本人学习计划(大于400字)；
10. 论文初稿（仅博士申请者提供）；
11. 以上所有非中英文材料均需提供经认证的中文或英文翻译件。
六、申请流程
1. 申请者向北京工商大学提出申请并提交材料
2. 北京工商大学审核材料并安排面试
3. 北京工商大学通知学生录取结果并邮寄录取材料。
