奖学金内容和标准
为进一步推动我校外国留学生教育事业的发展，帮助品学兼优的外国留学生顺利完成学业，激励外国留学生勤奋学习、努力进取，促进其全面发展，特设立上海外国语大学优秀外国留学生奖学金。该奖学金共设一、二、三等奖，其中一等奖为30000元人民币/人，面向博士研究生；二等奖为20000元人民币/人，面向博士研究生、硕士研究生和在读本科生；三等奖为5000元人民币/人，面向博士研究生、硕士研究生和在读本科生。

申请人资格
优秀外国留学生奖学金的申请对象是品学兼优的自费外国留学生学历生，包括当年申请我校并被录取的非中国籍本科生、硕士生、博士生（以下简称新生）和已在读正常学制内的非中国籍本科生、硕士生、博士生（以下简称老生）。
当年未获得其他各类奖学金；遵守中国政府的法律法规，遵守学校的校纪校规，尊重学校的教学安排；学习成绩优良，出勤情况良好；积极参加上海地区及学校组织开展的各类公益活动及社会实践活动。
