1. Scholarship content and criteria

In order to further accelerate the internationalization process of the university, serve the construction of "Double First Class", expand the scale of international students and attract high-quality students, Ningxia University has set up the Scholarship for Overseas Chinese Students of Ningxia University since 2017, which is a full-rate scholarship and is divided into scholarships for doctoral students, scholarships for master's students and scholarships for undergraduates. Scholarship. Scholarship content is tuition, accommodation, living expenses and comprehensive medical insurance premiums. The scholarship rate is RMB 2,500/month for undergraduates, RMB 3,000/month for master's degree students and RMB 3,500/month for doctoral degree students.

2、Qualifications of Applicants

(1) Those who come to China to study for bachelor's degree must have a high school education and be no older than 25 years old; those who come to China to study for master's degree must have a bachelor's degree and be no older than 35 years old; those who come to China to study for doctoral degree must have a master's degree and be no older than 40 years old;

(2) Applicants must have a foreign nationality hold a foreign passport, be friendly to China, and be physically and mentally healthy;

(3) Applicants must provide HSK Level 4 certificates or other certificates of Chinese language study and examination, etc. (Applicants applying for the undergraduate program of Chinese Language and Literature may not provide HSK transcripts). Applicants for various scholarships who do not meet the above language requirements for admission may apply to the university for a one-year language preparatory education;

(4) Applicants who have not been awarded other scholarships by the Chinese government at the same time.

3、Application Time

Scholarship applications are generally accepted from March to June each year.

4、Scholarship period

The duration of the scholarship is the same as the academic system of each major, 4-5 years for undergraduates, 2-3 years for master's degree holders and 3-4 years for doctoral degree holders. For those whose Chinese language proficiency is not up to the requirement of the study, Chinese language tuition can be arranged for 1 academic year. (Note: Scholarships are normally available during the one-year preparatory education.)

5、Application Process

(4) The university will announce the admission list at the end of June;

(5) The school will handle the enrollment procedures (JW202 form and acceptance letter) for those admitted;

(6) With the enrollment procedures issued by the school, the admitted students will go to the Chinese Embassy (Consulate) abroad to apply for the study visa in China (X1).

6、Application Required Documents

(1) Application Form for Scholarship for Studying in China of Ningxia University;

(2) A copy of the certificate of highest education;

(3) The original copy of the highest education certificate notarized by the Chinese Embassy. If the applicant is a student, he/she should submit a certificate of enrollment or a certificate of pre-graduation issued by the school he/she is attending, and he/she is required to submit the original and notarized certificate of academic qualifications after acceptance;

(4) Copies of transcripts and notarized certificates from the Chinese Embassy; (5) Study or research plan in China;

(5) Letter of recommendation. Applicants for master's or doctoral degree are required to submit two letters of recommendation written and signed by professors or associate professors in Chinese or English;

(6) A copy of one's passport;

(7) Applicants under the age of 18 are required to submit relevant legal documents from their legal guardians in China;

(8) Articles published in public journals, etc;

(9) Proof of awards;

(10) HSK transcripts;

(11) Copy of Foreigner's Physical Examination Form (keep the original on your own. The applicant shall strictly follow the items required in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Since the results of the examination are valid for three months, applicants are requested to determine the time of their medical examination accordingly;
