Mudanjiang Normal University Presidential Scholarship

Mudanjiang Normal University (MNU) is the earliest, largest and strongest provincial undergraduate institution in southeastern Heilongjiang Province. It is a national scale teacher training university of language and culture, a base for exchange of Chinese and Russian university students under the Ministry of Education, a Chinese government scholarship institution, a research center for teacher education in southeastern Heilongjiang Province, a research center for basic education, and a center for training of continuing education.

The school is located in Mudanjiang, a national excellent tourist city with beautiful scenery, and has a 60-year history of running schools. Covering an area of 1.05 million square meters, the university has 18 colleges with 54 undergraduate majors. Master's degree education has 8 first-level disciplines.

I. Application Path and Application Time

II. Qualifications of Applicants

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

2. Applicants' education and age requirements:

Those who are pursuing undergraduate degrees must have a high school education and be no older than 25 years old.

Those pursuing a master's degree must have a bachelor's degree and be no older than 35 years old.

3. Excellent academic performance.

5、Have not received any other scholarship support.

III. Application Materials Provided

Applicants must truthfully fill in and submit the following application materials (all in duplicate):

1. Application Form for Scholarship for International Students in China, completed in Chinese or English.

2. Notarized certificate of highest academic qualification. If the applicant is a student or employed, he/she should submit a certificate of enrollment issued by the school he/she is attending or a certificate of employment issued by the employer. A notarized translation into Chinese or English must be attached to the text in languages other than Chinese or English.

3. Submit recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors, written in Chinese or English.

4、Please provide a copy of the Chinese language proficiency certificate if you have passed the HSK test.

V. Scholarship Content and Criteria

Note: 1. Scholarship students are required to conduct experiments or internships beyond the school's teaching program, and the excess costs will be paid by themselves.

2. International travel and living expenses are at the student's own expense.

3、Students who are unable to enter their majors immediately because their Chinese language proficiency is not up to the required level are required to take Chinese language tutorials after coming to the university, and they will not be entitled to the scholarships during the Chinese language tutorial stage, and they will be required to pay all the expenses by themselves.

4. The comprehensive insurance for international students is mainly used for the expenses paid by students hospitalized for serious diseases or personal accidents. The school where the scholarship student resides or the rescue organization that accepts the advance payment will claim the expenses from the insurance company with the relevant receipts and in accordance with the pre-specified insurance terms and conditions.

3、Mudanjiang Normal College will mail the "Acceptance Notice", "Notice of Arrival" and "Application for Visa to China for Foreign Students" (Form JW202) to the scholarship applicants who meet the admission requirements at the beginning of July, and the admitted students should report to the school and register at the end of August within the stipulated reporting time.
