Guangxi University Junwu (Foreign Students) Scholarship for Doctoral Students

1.Scholarship content and criteria

Free tuition, free comprehensive insurance, free single room, and 2,000 RMB per month for living expenses. The total amount of scholarship funding may be adjusted accordingly if the school's tuition fee and accommodation fee charges for international students change.

2.Open Majors

All doctoral programs of Guangxi University are open for application, and the duration of all programs is three years.

3.Applicant Qualifications

(1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

(2) Applicants must have a master's degree and be no older than 45 years old. If the applicant is admitted as a fresh graduate of master's degree, he/she must submit the certificate of master's degree or the certificate of passing the defense of master's thesis before enrollment.

(3) Applicants shall submit application materials according to the requirements of the relevant enrollment prospectus of the University. International students who have already applied for Chinese Government Scholarships or Chinese Local Government Scholarships are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

(4) Applicants with high level of Chinese or English, background of studying in China or from countries whose mother tongue is English (or official language is English) are preferred.

(5) Preference will be given to applicants majoring in science, technology and agriculture.

4.Application Date

March through June each year.

5.Application Process / Pathway

In addition to submitting paper-based materials, applicants can also apply through the online application system of the School of International Education of Guangxi University (URL: http://gjy.gxu.edu.cn/templates/cn/studentlogin.aspx), and the application materials can be submitted as an attachment to the online application form.

6.Required materials for application

(1) Application Form for Junwu (Foreign Students) Doctoral Scholarship of Guangxi University (completed in Chinese or English, see attached), which can be downloaded from the website of School of International Education, Guangxi University.

(2) Applicants are required to submit notarized certificates of master's diploma and academic transcripts (in Chinese or English) during the master's degree.

(3) Study and research program in China, written in Chinese or English.

(4) Two letters of recommendation from professors or equivalent titles, written in Chinese or English.

(5) Physical Examination Form for Foreigners, in Chinese or English.
