Fujian Medical University Scholarship for Academic Advancement of International Students

1.Scholarship content and criteria

In order to cultivate the spirit of "Knowing China, Friendship with China, Compliance with Law, Diligent Study, and Positive Advancement" among international students, and to encourage undergraduate self-financed international students to make efforts in their study, clinical internship, continuous progress in their study, and to achieve excellent results, a scholarship for international students of Fujian Medical University is hereby established. The number of students to be selected is 5% of the number of students in each grade, and each student will receive 1000 RMB.

2.Open Majors

This scheme is applicable to full-time self-financed international students (except freshman year) who have the academic status of the university.

3.Applicant Qualifications

(1 ) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the rules and regulations of Fujian Medical University and College of Overseas Education;

(2 ) Not to be subject to warnings and above disciplinary actions for violating the rules and regulations of the university during the assessment period;

(3) No default in payment of tuition fees, accommodation fees, insurance premiums and other fees during the award period.

(4) Passing all examinations of compulsory courses in the academic year without missing or making up examinations.

(5) The students shall be ranked in descending order according to the improvement of their academic performance in their grades.

In the event of a tie, the students will be ranked in descending order according to their academic performance in the school year, with the higher ranked students being given priority in receiving the awards.

5.Application Process / Pathway

(1) During the first month of the school year, the counselor will propose a preliminary selection list based on the results of the grade count. The number of students selected is 5% of the number of students in each grade. The clinical internship stage is not eligible for this scholarship.

(2) Reported to the Leading Group of Overseas Education College Student Award Evaluation.

(3) The Leading Group of Overseas Education College Student Award Evaluation will make preliminary evaluation according to the comprehensive scores of the students in the academic year, and then report the results of preliminary evaluation to the Office of the Leading Group of Overseas Student Award Evaluation of the university after the results of preliminary evaluation are publicized in the college for three working days without any objection.

(4) The Office of the Leading Group for Assessment of Awards for International Students shall submit the results to the Leading Group for Assessment of Awards for International Students of the university for approval, and the results shall be announced after being publicized in the university for three working days without any objection.
