Scholarship Details
I. Targets of Single Scholarships for Foreign Students
Foreign students who have made outstanding achievements in academics, sports, arts, cultural exchanges and public welfare activities.
Categories of Single Scholarships for International Students
Individual scholarships for international students are categorized into Academic Diligence Award, Social Welfare Award, Cultural and Sports Excellence Award, Cultural and Sports Participation Award and Development Potential Award.
Conditions for Evaluation of Individual Scholarships
1. Academic Diligence Award: Self-financed foreign Chinese language students enrolled in the university are diligent in their studies, have good grades in all courses (with academic assessment scores of 85 or above, starting from the high score), and have no more than 30 hours of absenteeism in one semester (including sick leave, vacation leave, and absenteeism). Recipients of the Scholarship for Outstanding Advanced Chinese Language Students cannot apply for the Academic Diligence Award repeatedly in the same semester.
2、Social Welfare Award: those who have excellent moral qualities, are enthusiastic about social welfare, actively participate in student associations and hold important positions, and have outstanding performance in the construction of campus civilization and harmonious campus, and have been notified and commended by the school.
3. Award for Cultural and Sports Excellence: those who have won places in cultural and sports competitions organized by the national, provincial and municipal governments and schools.
4. Award for participation in culture and sports: those who enthusiastically participate in culture and sports competitions organized by the country, province, city and school.
5. Development Potential Award: In the class where the student is studying, the student's academic performance has improved by 25 points or more compared with the previous semester (including 25 points).
IV. Individual Scholarship Level and Quota
1. Academic Diligence Award: the award amount is RMB 500 yuan, and the proportion is 10% of the number of Chinese language students.
2、Social Welfare Award: the award amount is RMB 300-500 yuan, and the quota is not limited.
3. Award for Cultural and Sports Excellence: The award is RMB 1500-2000, 1000-1500, and 300-500 for those who have won places in the cultural and sports competitions organized by the country, province, city, and school respectively, and the number of places is not limited.
4. Award for participation in culture and sports: those who actively participate in cultural and sports competitions organized by the country, province, city and school will be awarded RMB 1,000-2,000, 300-800 and 100-300 respectively, with no limitation on the number of places.
