Scholarship Details
I. General provisions
In order to attract more outstanding foreign students to apply for admission to the university and to encourage the foreign students to study hard, Hunan Normal University Scholarship for Foreign Students is hereby established.
Objects of Scholarship
1. Non-Chinese nationals.
2. Physically and mentally healthy, with good academic performance.
Types of Scholarships and Application Targets
Types: Comprehensive Scholarship and Individual Scholarship
Application targets: outstanding self-financed students who have been studying in the University for one year or more; outstanding self-financed academic students who will be enrolled in the University; the recipients of individual awards are limited to current students only, but are not duplicated with the comprehensive awards.
Application Period: March 1 - May 31
V. Application Process
Applicants submit their materials to the acceptance department before the deadline. After the comprehensive selection in our school and the public announcement in the school, the school will officially announce the list of scholarship recipients and notify the students themselves.
Application Materials
(I) Freshmen applicants
Scholarship Application Form for Foreign Students of Hunan Normal University; proof of final academic qualifications or degrees; transcripts of graduation institutions; health certificates; letters of recommendation from two associate professors or above from graduation institutions for master's degree or above - written in Chinese or English; certificates of proficiency in Chinese or English.
(II) Current Students
Scholarship Application Form for Foreign Students of Hunan Normal University; academic transcripts; recommendation letter from the college; attendance sheet; original award certificates.
