Fujian Normal University Presidential Scholarship

I. Scholarship content and criteria, open specializations

All majors of Fujian Normal University are eligible to apply. Open to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students. Free of accommodation and tuition fees upon receipt of the scholarship.

III. Qualifications of Applicants

(a) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health;

(ii) Applicant's education and age requirements:

(i) Applicants for undergraduate programs must have graduated from high school or above and be no older than 30 years old in principle;

(ii) Applicants for master's degree must have a university degree or above, and their age should not exceed 35 years old in principle;

(iii) Applicants for doctoral programs must have a master's degree or higher and be no older than 40 years old in principle;

(iii) Language proficiency requirements for applicants

Requirements for undergraduate programs: applicants for liberal arts majors need to reach the fifth level of the New HSK, science majors need to reach the fourth level of the New HSK, and Chinese language undergraduates can be admitted at zero level.

Requirements for Master's Degree Programs: New HSK Level 5 for liberal arts majors and New HSK Level 4 for science majors.

Requirements for doctoral programs: to apply for liberal arts majors, you need to reach HSK level 5; to apply for science majors, you need to reach HSK level 4.

(4) Applicants who have received awards from the Chinese government or other organizations are no longer eligible for the Presidential Scholarship of Fujian Normal University.

V. Application Time and Application Materials

The Rector's Scholarship is open for application throughout the year.

Applicants must truthfully complete and submit the following application materials:

(i) Fill in the online Application Form for Fujian Provincial Scholarship Program for Foreign Students;

(ii) Notarized proof of highest academic qualifications and academic transcripts;

(iii) Record of Physical Examination for Foreigners (uniformly printed by the Chinese Health and Quarantine Department);

(iv) Study or research plan of 400 words or more;

(e) Applicants for studying music, art and other art majors should submit their relevant works according to the requirements of the school;

(vi) Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit relevant legal documents from their legal guardians in China;

(vii) The application materials submitted by the applicants will not be returned regardless of whether the application is approved or not.
